Actual research at IRISA - CAIRN PDF Print E-mail

I am currently working for the CNRS Languedoc Roussillon on an ANR project called ROMA. To achieve this project, I have moved to North Brittany at the IRISA laboratory in the CAIRN team located in Lannion. The aim of this project is to define methods for the following topic: "Reconfigurable Operators for Multimedia Applications". One of the main challenge of this project is to take into account the precision aspect during a synthesis or compilation flow. Methods and tools develelopped within the frame of this project are developped under the Eclipse Modelling Framework (EMF) and integrated to a Generic Compilation Suite (GECOS) developped by IRISA.

I received my PhD in october 2008. The topic of my thesis concerns the use of Taylor Expansion Diagram to optimize the quality of results generated by High Level Synthesis Tools or Compilers.

This work has been done under guidance of Pr Emmanuel Boutillon at the Lab-STICC laboraty in south-brittany. For more information about Taylor Expansion Diagram, please refer to the VLSI-CAD Laboratory from University of Massachusetts (UMass Amherst).

For those who want to have a look on my dissertation, please contact me by mail at guillotjeremie[at]free[dot]fr. If you ask it nicely Laughing To view the slideshow used for the defense please click on read more...

ADAM stands for "Adaptive Dynamic Architecture for MP2SoCs". It is a prospective research project accepted and funded by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR) that directly addresses the hot topic of MPSoC self-adaptability to altered operating conditions, like loss of performance, appearance of faulty hardware resources, and temperature overhead.
