je vois que quelqu un a des notions de canot en bois mais l etancheite des oeuvres vivas et mortes s obtenait principalement au chanvre place au fer termine au bitord et ensuite arase au mastic additionne de ;;;;;;;minium le pont etait etancheifie au brai pose a chaud a la cuiller et arase ensuite ;le coaltar ne seche pas aussi faut il lui ajouter de la collophane et du ciment afin qu il durcisse ses vertus anti tout sont reconnues il est meme fortement cancerigene d autre part sais pas pourquoi mais les chevrettes en raffolent minute kulturelle du radoteur de service treminee

Ok, I see.
I do remember the black paste on older fishing (sardine) boats around here, and even my grandfather small boat.
This Cabochard already had antifouling... and i need it because since we have inner waters in Faro's Ria Formosa (check on the web) I like to go and fit the boat in beach/sand... wich scratches the gelcoat... the antifouling protects something.

But! I already started the works! I got all the stuff I need, and started today with the wood line on the sides. Looking good, almos half done!
